Another photo from a vintage publication showing a "Nell" getting maintained somewhere in the South Pacific.
Of interest is the entrance hatch in the nose. There was nothing really inside this area but offered access to the back side of the instrument panel and the auto pilot.
Note also the crew entrance hatch and the ladder behind the radio antenna under the fuselage.
The ground crew wear an assortment of clothes, light green trousers, white shirts while the guy on the wing behind the prop wears pilot boots.
