What a great list of models! I wish some of the mainstream companies would issue kits of some of these X- planes.

I sent an e-mail to FineMolds (otemami@finemolds.co.jp), suggesting that they do a Nakajima ki-87 in 1/48. Maybe I'm lucky and they hear my plea?

Any idea what a No. 48-15 "Gekko" would be worth?I can find anything on them at all.
ReplyDeleteI would like to get a kit of the E15K, and try to do a better resin-model out of it. Anyone who has a chance to digg one somewere?
ReplyDeleteMe - I did not found it for years.

Very interesting, kudos to them for covering subjects not normally done by most kit manufacturers, even if their resin was super crappy. I think they produced the only E16A1 "Paul" in 1/48 scale. I rather like their minimalist approach to packaging too, very apropos for the subject era and it'd be neat if Revell or Hasegawa mimicked that simple, straight forward style for certain aviation subjects.
ReplyDeleteYea man they are expensive, but not so good quality.i owned the Paul.got it for 65 on ebay.5 years later it sold on ebay for 200.i was amazed.is the sally avaiable and is it bad quality too??
ReplyDeleteHi, I have been trying to find the 1/48 Ki- 201 Karyu for some time now, no luck. I have the Kikka jets, but the Ki-201 I can't seem to find anywhere.
ReplyDeleteHey "anonymous" looking for a Karyu kit, I sent you an urgent email yesterday. Did you get it?
