Jan Kaňov from Czech Republic send over WIP photos of his Tamiya Kawanishi N1K1 Kyofu Type 11 in 1:48. Accessories from Eduard in the form of a set of metal parts 48 269 (Eduard 1998).
WIP Pt. 1
Drilled engine cowling with new shaft and rim.
Assembled and sealed float of the airplane and a few other parts too. Also drilled the cowling gills on the port side of the fuselage.
New engine cowling flaps
The basis for new exhaust ducts. The exhausts can be attached to glued sticks after the model's overall paint.
WIP Pt. 2
Dummy of exhaust ducts. Ready to glue the fuselage. I did not shoot the engine, it will not be seen! ;)
Closing the cartridge ejection shaft. I
further separated the control wings and the flaps.
After clutching the hull, I separated the
directional rudder. There is a newly created position for the rudder on
the photo.
Modified directional rudder.
