Japanese Aircraft Online Model Contest 010 - VICTOR KLOCHKOV #1

Hasegawa's N1K2-J in 32nd scale, finished in 2015.
Eduard PE+many scratch-built things were done. On this kit managed to show a deformed panelling (waved sheets of alumium).

  2. I forgot to mention that this model was painted by AKAN, Tamiya and Mr.Color. Oil and pastel for weathering. Salt method was used for paint "degradation". More photos here http://karopka.ru/community/user/12867/?MODEL=403089
    I hope this is allowed and I don't break the rules.

  4. A very very well-built model. Gets a 9.75 from me - no, just joking, a 10 of course.
    It's the green colour again which does not convince me 100% (sorry, for being a pain in the neck with my green-mania). It looks great on the first picture, a bit too shallow on the others. This silver spinner backplate I see for the first time on Kanno's plane. Artistic license?

    An aside comment: In the book 'Genna's blade about the 343 Ku there is a photo on p.172 with dozens of removed props after surrender. They all have yellow resp. white spinner tips. It seems very possible that the 343 had painted their spinners in the different Hikotai colours towards the end of the war.
