Congratulations George and Kiri with this publication, it must have been a great effort to push on to the end to finish this book.
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the Sally, on your website recently, gave a glimpse of what we can expect. I really look forward to read the book in the near future.
Best regards,
Eric
Good evening George,
ReplyDeleteI've just sent you the money. When will you start delivery? TIA.
Cheers,
Marcus
I'm not inociously look forward !!!
ReplyDeleteTHX George.
Thank you guys. Delivery will start before the end of this month.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing this important and much anticipated addition to the list of English titles focused on Japanese subjects.
ReplyDeleteDid the impressive number of pages (three times EE #1!) mandate any changes to the proven A4 format or magazine-style saddle stitch binding? I’m a hardcover fan, but saddle stitching works fine and is economical. Unfortunately, most glued softcover bindings wrinkle on the spine if opened fully.
PS Can't wait for Eagle Eye #4 on the Ki-48 ;)
Thank you David. Always A4 but yes, the binding needed to change. No hardcover titles in the Arawasi catalogue. Too cumbersome and heavy to ship around the world. More like the binding of our Manchukuo title, if you're familiar with it.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid the next EE won't be about the Ki-48. There are two candidate subjects. The first is one that I've been working on for the past 20 years (!), the other is much easier. We'll see. Need to finish the next issue of our magazine first!
G'day George, I've just sent the payment to your PayPal account. The timing of this book couldn't be better. I recently added an Italeri BR20 to my stash, and I also have a Revell/Takara Sally on its way to me from Japan. I'm very excited to have the book, too.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Mark.
Hi Mark, received payment okay, will notify you when I ship. I'm sure you'll find plenty of inspiration in our book for your models.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
George
I've send the money for this excellent publication. Can't wait for reciving it. 8-)
ReplyDeleteHello George,
ReplyDeleteI‘ve just received my copy. Great work. Thank you very much. Will you write another book about the Ki-49?
Have a great day and stay healthy.
Cheers,
Marcus
I received my copy the other day. The book arrived very quickly, was professionally packed, and the book itself is a superior product in every way. Congrats on creating this wonderful reference, and to anybody on the fence about buying the book, buy with confidence!

EE#3 just arrived this morning - a wonderful book George! Many thanks for dispatching it so quickly.
ReplyDeleteToday the book arrived to me. FANTASTIC! Thanks, George!
ReplyDeleteG'day George,
ReplyDeleteEE3 arrived a few days ago, but I didn't get a chance to look at it properly until yesterday. It's superb! I can only guess at how much work has gone into publishing it, but it was well worth it. Many thanks from me and my son, who is becoming very interested in Japanese aircraft.
All the best,
Mark
Thank you too Mark. Very glad you liked it. Hopefully we have a new fan among or ranks.
