Japanese Aircraft Online Model Contest 002 - MIKHAIL AGEENKO
Mikhail Ageenko from Russia just completed an 1/72 RS Models Ki-106 in what-if markings for the 182 Shinbu tai unit.

Very nicely done. There are subtle differences between this and the Ki-84 it is based off of. Tachikawa was assigned the task of redesigning the airframe for wooden construction because of the increasingly critical aluminum alloy supply situation. Only 3 prototypes were built.

Wind Swords
Very nice! Could be mistaken for a Ki-84 at first glance. (4.3)
I like it a lot. Could use a little weathering and pannel accentuating though. 4.2 from me.
