Kawasaki Ki-48 "Lily" - 8th Sentai - video

Another part of the video posted on February 1st, features Kawasaki Ki-48 "Lily" belonging to the 8th Sentai during a bombing operation. On November 29, 1943 nine aircraft of the 8th Sentai together with 28 fighter aircraft gathered over Meiktila in Burma and bombed enemy forces gathered in "Akora" airfield (the Japanese name. Could not pinpoint the allied name of this airfield. Maybe Chittagong). The escort fighters were engaged in air battles with Hurricanes shooting down three enemy aircraft. On the way back to the base the bombers of the 8th were jumped by enemy fighters losing one aircraft.
HERE is a link to the video. Click and let me know if you can see it.

There are a number of very interesting aircraft on the video starting with a Kawasaki Ki-45 "Toryu".
There are three Ki-48s taking off in succession displaying very interesting camouflage and tail markings.

Per Shores' "Air War for Burma", the air base was Agartala. *th sentai was escorted by the 33rd and 50th sentais. Hurricanes of 60, 67, 146 & 258 Squadron, plus 12 Spitfires of 615 Squadron. From that squadron, Plt. Off 'Nappy" Carroll claimed a Ki-48 probable, the only claim against Ki-48s, so he probably shot down Sgt. Maj. Hirotsugu's Ki-48.
BTW, I only have a white screen for both the Ki-48 video, and the A6M5 RC video.
