Japanese Aircraft Online Model Contest 013 - DAN SALAMONE #1
1/48 Fine Molds Judy nightfighter, Yokosuka NAG. Painted with Tamiya and Gunze paints, opened canopy and used vacform parts. I built this in 2004, and remember that the fit left a lot to be desired but was a fun project anyhow.
I like this one, it shows weathering of the paint, and then a re-spray at some point, that layer of paint also becoming slightly weather beaten. Really breaks up the solid surface. Nice details. I would say a 10 on this one.

Very interesting. Something attracts me to the plane. . . . .
No, I will not evaluate yet. It is not easy. :)
Dan, as usual, beautiful work. I wonder what the muzzle blast did to the antenna?
Thanks, George! I remember thinking the same thing when building it, and assuming that is why the extra strapping of the loose antenna to the mast.
